Warranty & Malfunction Refund Policy
At Delta Watch co, we take immense pride in the precision engineering of our timepieces. We understand that a watch is a complex instrument, and while rare, mechanical or electronic malfunctions can occur.
This policy applies exclusively to watches experiencing functional defects or mechanical failures.
1. Eligibility for Refund
To qualify for a refund under this policy, the timepiece must exhibit a manufacturing defect or internal malfunction. This includes:
-
Inaccurate timekeeping beyond the movement's specified tolerance.
-
Total movement failure (the watch stops running).
-
Malfunctioning complications (date windows, chronographs, etc.).
-
Critical structural failure of the case or crystal under normal use.
2. Coverage Period
Refund requests for malfunctions must be initiated within 10 of the original delivery date.
-
Beyond this period: If your watch malfunctions after the refund window, it will be covered under our 1-Year Limited Warranty for repair or replacement rather than a refund.
3. Exclusions (What is NOT covered)
This policy does not apply to, and refunds will not be issued for:
-
Cosmetic Wear: Scratches, dents, or fading of plating from daily use.
-
Accidental Damage: Dropped watches, shattered crystals, or water damage exceeding the ATM rating.
-
Unauthorized Service: Any watch opened or tampered with by a third-party jeweler.
-
Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for aesthetic preferences or "buyer's remorse" under this specific policy.
4. The Malfunction Verification Process
To ensure the integrity of our products, all returned watches undergo a rigorous inspection by our master watchmakers.
-
Initiation: Contact info@deltawatchco.com with your order number and a brief description (or video) of the malfunction.
-
Return Authorization: We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a prepaid insured shipping label.
-
Technical Inspection: Once received, our watchmaker will inspect the movement. This process typically takes 3–5 business days.
-
Verification:
-
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, your refund will be processed immediately.
-
If the issue is found to be caused by external impact or misuse, the refund will be denied, and we will provide a quote for repair.
-
5. Refund Processing
-
Original Payment: Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method.
-
Timeline: Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
-
Shipping Costs: For verified malfunctions, [Your Brand Name] will cover all shipping and insurance costs.
6. Return Condition
When returning a malfunctioned watch for a refund, it must be returned with:
-
The original presentation box and outer packaging.
-
All manuals, hangtags, and warranty cards.
-
All original bracelet links (if applicable).
Important Note: A restocking fee may apply if the original packaging or accessories are missing, even if the watch itself is defective.

Refund Policy - the basics
Having said that, a Refund Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers regarding how and if you will provide them with a refund. Online businesses selling products are sometimes required (depending on local laws and regulations) to present their product return policy and refund policy. In some jurisdictions, this is needed in order to comply with consumer protection laws. It may also help you avoid legal claims from customers that are not satisfied with the products they purchased.
What to include in the Refund Policy
Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.
